Thu, November 16, 2006 - 5:11 PMI found some nice battery operated LED's at Walgreens, 20 bright LEDs, ran by 4 AA batteries (6 volts). so far I have ran 2 units (40 lights) off of one set of 4 AA's ( wired them paralell) for 12 hours.
Im sure they could be rig'ed to run off of a 6v lanturn battery for quite a while...
Just a thought.
oh, they were $3.99 white or multi colored. -

Sat, November 25, 2006 - 1:28 PMif you cant find them, let me know how many you want. They are 5 bucks each. in all white, or Red, Orange, and green. The package says runs 150 hours of fresh alkiline batteries.
